Seize The Day

Traveling and arriving into Atlanta, the special event of November 9th, 2010 was highly motivational. “Seize the Day” event had arrived, comprised of several famous and inspirational orators. And the crowds at Phillips Arena cheered on the dream team speakers.

Les Brown made the first speech and revealed overcoming adversity and achieving one's dreams. His motivational rhetoric inspired and encouraged the audience.

The second speaker was the sales expert, Tom Hopkins. He explained how communication is king when making a sales opportunity. And, he championed one's communication skills to sell not just tangible things but to sell one's self such as a job interview.

Sarah Palin, the former Alaskan governor, made her appearance to the 20,000 cheering crowd. She testified to the negative political advertising and how it is easier to tear down than to build. She expounded upon the value of family and God is important in all that we do.

Bill O'Reilly of the FOX news show, The O'Reilly Factor, brought up the controversial situation of his guest appearance on the TV show, The View. He followed his story with positive statements of achieving one's goals and getting paid to do something you enjoy.

Ben Stein, Laura Bush, John Smoltz, and a few others provided motivational speeches. Terry Bradshaw, the famous NFL legend and game analyst, gave a quality performance in team work with his awesome comedy.

"Seize the Day" was an all day affair, leaving most everyone with the opportunity to travel back home with hope and change relevant to their own lives and not having to rely upon the government.
