The purpose of PhotoWorkshops TTL is to revive or enhance the passion for photography, provide enjoyment in learning how to shoot like a pro, and feel the pride in creative image making.
Ken "Max" Parks
Max was introduced to photography by his Dad, a photographer in the U.S. Navy who later performed wedding photography services as a semi-professional. At the age of 15, Max was assisting his Dad in shooting weddings and was taught the principles of photography. Max had the rare opportunity to photograph with professional equipments including Rollieflex, Speedgraphix with Linhof lens and Voigtlander system.
Max has specialized in wedding photography while living in Florida and Georgia. He used professional film cameras such as Hasselblad, Linhof, Bronica, and Olympus.
Several years ago, Max recognized the technological changes in photography and knew that digital cameras will eventually overcome the usage of film. His creative images have been incorporated with the use of professional digital photographic equipment.
Max is an assistant organizer of the Decatur Digtial Photography Meetup group. and a member of several local photography groups. He recently won an award for his image, "Weathered Truck" and "Storm Over San Quirico." He has also been published in SimplePhoto. Max is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the National Asso
ciation of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP)Outside of shooting weddings and models, Max provides monthly assignments, lessons, and critiques of the Decatur meetup members. Max is also a writer/photographer for Examiner.com
Photography Workshop
Max has several years experience in photography and technical training. Photography is his passion and he takes pride in seeing other photography friends improve their techniques and resulting art.
Max's interest includes Italy travel, culture, and language. Putting all of this together as a semi-professional photographer, instructor, and an Italian enthusiast, Max conceived the idea of establishing the first of a series of photography workshops in Italy.
PhotoWorkshops TTL - The Future
